This particular drum made in Ivory Coast from one piece log of Mansonia wood. It size is about 23-24 inch tall with about 13" face, perfect size for this djembe with average weight of about 12-15lb which is great for a drum of this size. Besides the obvious music qualities the most notable features of this drum are: Shea butter finish, Steel rings wrapped in plastic and nylon to prevent rust through, 5mm super static imported rope, Dry shaved african goat skin. Step mount of rings prevent them from slipping. Simply the very capable classic Ivory Coast drum.
